A little known fact of Wind Turbines are their impact to Wildlife

 

As birds migrate through our Bohemian Alps, they are not accostomed to flying around 400 foot wind turbines however, it would become something they would have to do for self preservation, or more than likely, the bird migration will no longer exist in this area.

 

The specicies which would be affected are nesting bald eagles, breeding prairie chickens and other endangered and threatened species that have made the welands, draws and valleys of this area their home.
